West
End: The very centre of London for the visitor with the theatre
district, Oxford St and many of the main sights, consequently very
little budget accommodation.
Kings Cross / Euston:
Kings Cross has some of the cheapest accommodation in Central London,
Euston is more upmarket.
Victoria: Hotel accommodation
of all grades, very central and great direct transport links with
the airports.
Bayswater & Paddington:
Perhaps the major budget accommodation area in London with great economic
restaurants, shops too.
Liverpool
Street & City: The financial and business area of London.
Terminus of Stansted Express and Stansted Terravision buses. Hotel
accommodation has few budget options. |
Cheap
Budget Hotel - Blakemore Hotel Bayswater
Sets a
benchmark for simple, budget rooms. Very volatile room rates with
weekend rates normally higher than mid week. A couple of minutes walk
from Hyde Park and a 5 minute walk to Queensway, a great area for
budget travellers to eat and get supplies |
