Ryanair is beginning to build up a hub at neighbouring Luton and now
has just started flying from Gatwick to European destinations other
than Ireland. |

Baggage
:
There is no free hold baggage allowance, each passenger is permitted
to check in up to a maximum of 3 bags combined weight of 15kgs subject
to the payment of the applicable checked baggage fees.
There is a second tier of baggage charges over 15kg.
One item of cabin baggage per person, weighing no more than 10kg and
with maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm, may be carried into
the aircraft cabin free of charge
Check-In : Each passenger checking
in at the airport is subject to an Airport Check-In fee per one way
flight which is payable at the time of flight reservation.
Standard opening of airport check-in desks is two hours prior to scheduled
departure. Early check-in is highly recommended. Check-in closes strictly
40 minutes before the scheduled time of departure.
