airport in open countryside within sight of the terminal buildings.
The hotel runs its own minibus to and from the passenger terminal

The
hotel is in open countryside just north east of the airport, the terminal
complex can be seen from the hotel.
For a major London Airport the countryside is surprisingly undeveloped.
There is little in the immediate area but flat agricultural land.
A typically English Pub is a short walk away down the country lane
which provides access to the terminal area.
From the motorway the hotel is on the other side of the airport. You
proceed up the approach road to a roundabout just before the terminal,
branching off along a lane around the airport perimeter.
From Stansted there are plenty of typically English villages in the
area with pubs. Further afield Cambridge is a pleasant place to visit
if you have time to kill. |
